Profile of Cole Shaw<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cole has been interested in capacity building since he was an Outdoor Emergency Care instructor in ski patrol, and he continued working in the field as a Peace Corps Volunteer and leader of product design workshops. As a software developer in SEI, he works with MIT faculty and course teams to experiment with learning technologies \u2014 his web applications belong to the Backstage software suite. These apps range from concept maps of lecture videos, to core infrastructure for learning asset management. Cole also acts as a technical liaison with external collaborators such as edX, Stanford OLI, UT Austin, and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).<\/span><\/p>\n
